Peer-review and timetable
Since the issue of 2013, the journal has been subject to a double-blind-peer-review according to international standards in the interest of transparent quality assurance. The peer reviewers come from the scientific community of religious education, usually from German-speaking countries.
After a contribution has been submitted, it is subjected to an internal review by a member of the editorial board. The external reviewers then receive the anonymized original article together with the standardized review form and submit their review to the editorial board. The editorial board provides the authors with the anonymized information from the peer review process. After a revision by the author, the editorial correction is made. On this basis, the final text is prepared and approved by the authors. The entire review process takes place on OJS.
Reviews and presentations of theses are excluded from the review process!
