Religious education at primary schools developes into religious studies. In this context, Rudolf Englert speaks of an objectification of religious education. This article presents aesthetic learning as a way of counteracting this objectification and achieving a theological connection of religious education. Following this discussion the article provides concrete impulses for teacher training.
