Abstract

This article presents the didactics of the Green Pedagogy as a systemic and constructivist didactics. Due to topics around nature like creation and preservation of creation it can have an impact on Religious Education in the bigger context of the Education for Sustainable Development. Green Pedagogy will be compared with Religious Education. Finally a few topics will be mentioned that can be of relevance for Green Pedagogy as well as Religious Education.

Michael Holzwieser, Dozent an Hochschule für Agrar- und Umweltpädagogik, Wien: Schulpraxisbetreuung Umweltpädagog/innen, Schulentwicklungsberater, Schwerpunkt der Lehre in interkulturellen und interreligiösen Themen; Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung und Spiritualität. Langjähriger Pastoralassistent, dann 15 Jahre Religionslehrer an BHS und AHS in Wien. Supervisor und Coach.
