Since autumn 2014, about 100 free church teachers of religion have been teaching in Austrian schools. Based on qualitative interviews and an online survey, this article describes their entry into the school system. Furthermore, it will be shown whether religion teachers were able to shape interreligious learning in their everyday school life.
