Abstract

This article presents central results of the mixed method study ‚Muslim Milieus in Austria’. Based on several brief single cases I illustrate five different forms of praxis that depict the variety of dealing with religion of the muslim population in Austria in everyday life. The focus is on juveniles and young adults aged between 16 and 30. Furthermore, general findings are highlighted that apply to all different forms of praxis likewise. In this context I outline the tendencies of virtualization, religious bricolage, and the processual character of religious life.
