Abstract

There is a lack of empirical research in religious education concerns the Orthodox youth. This article presents the results of a questionnaire survey conducted in Austria, which provides the first insights of their kind into the images of God among the Orthodox youth. We applied semantic differential. The results show that the predicates calculated according to the frequencies of the semantic differential can correspond to the image of God both trinitarian and christological in the orthodox tradition. Finally there are some reflections on how young people shape their approach to the image of God in antinomic categories of God‘s transcendence and immanence.
