Abstract

Salafist-jihadist propaganda has also reached Austria in recent years. As reports of security agencies show, hundreds of young Muslims were recruited in this country. In the course of this, Islamic religious education can play an even more significant role, as it deconstructs ideological concepts by theological means. This article suggests an educational approach for a possible deconstruction.
