Abstract

Religious early childhood education strives to develop the kindergarten as a safe space. In it, difference should be cultivated and critically as well as productively processed in favor of the religious education of the children. The present contribution takes up this goal, but critically questions whether such important factors as educational justice and cultural diversity are actually adequately considered in their interdependence. Only under this condition, according to the thesis, is such a religious early childhood education capable of heterogeneity.
