Abstract

The article deals with war and peace on the basis of the Orthodox tradition and theology as well as with corresponding religious education perspectives for school education. How peaceful coexistence can be achieved on different levels, is a central question of the article. With regard to the described context of the theological foundations and chances of Orthodox religious education for peace education, selected examples for cooperation with ethics education are also outlined.
