A focus group of muslim and catholic teachers of religious education in Vienna discussed their experiences in working with refugee students in public school. A sequence analysis develops in-depth understanding and critical requests on the topic of freedom of faith in the context of public school, in the light of intersectional entanglement regarding gender, religion, culture, origin and education.
