Abstract

Digitalization is an extremely present topic in current didactic debates. Nevertheless, a critical discussion on the level of basic theoretical considerations rarely takes place. A critical examination of digitalization is often limited to mentioning the technological ambivalences without drawing any corresponding conclusions. In a first step, the article discusses the difficulty, possibility and necessity of ideology critique with a regard to new debates in media education. Secondly, didactic considerations are mentioned: It will be reflected how critical perspectives regarding the digital world can be addressed in religious education itself.
