Abstract

It is normal for teenagers to use selfies to present themselves in social media. Often a selfie serves as a profile picture and this usually gives cause for comments. The effort of self-presentation sometimes takes a lot of time and effort in the life of young people, only an individually coherent selfie can be posted. It was examined whether and how selfies can make a positive contribution to the identity support of young people.
